Our rotor sleeves for generators and turbochargers provide benefits including significantly reduced air gaps between rotor and stator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They enable compensation of centripetal forces and thermal expansion, resulting in improved energy efficiency and power output. Thanks to their excellent mechanical and thermal properties, they are also suitable for very high speeds. Dimensional accuracy in the circumferential direction is ensured by adjustable thermal expansion. In addition, the low conductivity of fiber composite material minimizes magnetic losses compared to metallic solutions. Improved stator cooling is also achieved, while the bandage effectively seals the rotor from the coolant. In addition, the use of thin-walled shells (~0.2 mm) enables a particularly efficient design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
